An Unexpected Gift from the Universe

Have you ever experienced a place so filled with loving energy that it instantly raises your vibrations?

I don’t categorize myself as religious, but I do acknowledge when a place lifts and balances my vibrations. This was the most spectacular view I had ever seen. The first time I stepped onto this vineyard, I felt so much peace. The energy on this land felt so hopeful and so calming. Everything seemed to flow in perfect unison. From the way the vines connected with each other and the ground they grew from, to how the fruit and flowers sprouted with so much ambition.

Something warmed inside of me, and I was instantly eager to be as present as possible. The land’s effortless beauty fueled me in this moment. Although the circumstances that led me to this space were unexpected and sad, this moment of connection and calamity was exactly what I needed.

The sun was settling for the night, and the sky was glowing a beautiful orange hue. Its final rays of light found a gurdwara (Sikh temple) in the distance and illuminated it. This moment was so serene that, in this exact second, nothing else mattered.

Wanting to soak in as much of this experience as possible, I did something unexpected. I closed my eyes. As much as I wanted to see it, I wanted to feel it too. I breathed in the familiar smell of warm sand and blooming vegetation. I stood still and let the warm breeze hug my body with compassion. I appreciated this gift in its entirety.

I had felt lost for a long time, but somehow, here, I felt found. I felt like the universe conspired to give me this moment as a reminder that just like the sun, I can still shine when I rest. It reminded me that even when something is incomplete, it can still be beautiful. It reminded me that no matter how alone I feel, just like the interlocked vines of the vineyard, I am connected. It showed me that although I may not be religious, there is still something illuminating my path. Something that guides me through life.

Although I only stood there for a few minutes, I felt incredibly grateful. Thank you for my unexpected little spark of joy. Thank you for my secret gift from the universe.
